Everybody can break down from time to time as a result of stress, loss or tragedy. Ron Burgundy is no different, and has undergone anguish on several occasions, such as when he was temporarily fired from the Channel 4 News Team (where he discovered that milk was a poor choice of beverage on a hot day) or when his canine companion, Baxter, was punted off of a bridge by an angry motorcyclist. During the latter breakdown, Burgundy's feelings were summarised by this line in a phone call made to colleague Brian Fantana. Respecting the fact that the anchorman was able to make sense of his feelings even in a time of crisis (an accomplishment that ranks up there with his ability to perform over one thousand bicep curls), many now choose to use his words to describe their own complex emotional situations.
