10 Iconic Batman Moments We Still Haven't Seen On Film

9. Maniacal Batman - Venom

Batman Venom
DC Comics

After facing the uppermost limits of his physical strength and ultimately failing to save a young girl from drowning, Batman hits a dark depression in which he's forced to face the fact that he is just a man and cannot save everyone.

In a way, Bruce Wayne is forced to face the death of his parents once again and let it be known that he's really not a fan of that. Bats decides to chemically improve his strength by taking a derivative of Bane's Venom - the super steroid that imbues the villain with his increased power - believing his superior body and mind capable of withstanding its destructive side effects. We often see our Dark Knight as composed, controlled, unshakeable.

But Batman is simply a man and the most compelling tales from the pages are undoubtedly those in which we're shown the man at his lowest, facing his greatest and most formidable foe: himself.
