10 Iconic Comic Book Movie Moments Not In The Script

4. "What Do They Call You, Wheels?" - X-Men

X Men Wolverine Hugh Jackman

When Wolverine is first introduced to the X-Men in the original 2000 movie, he's more amused than impressed at their ridiculous names and costumes. To that end, he mockingly asks Professor X (Patrick Stewart), "What do they call you, Wheels?"

This was another instance of Jackman taking it upon himself to modify a fairly bland line as scripted.

You see, the screenplay had Logan quip, "What do they call you, Baldie?", but considering how lazy and toothless an insult that is, it says far more about the Logan character to have him mock Xavier's paralysis instead.

Plus, isn't "wheels" just a way more amusing and harsh insult than "baldie"?
