10 Iconic Comic Book Movie Moments Not In The Script

5. Jackson Pollock - Guardians Of The Galaxy

Has there been a more risque joke in the MCU than the infamous "Jackson Pollock" gag from Guardians of the Galaxy? After Gamora (Zoe Salanda) comments upon how filthy Star-Lord's room is, he proudly declares, "If I had a blacklight, this would look like a Jackson Pollock painting."

A shockingly crude line for an apparently kid-friendly movie, it nevertheless went down a treat with adult audiences impressed at how slyly such vulgar imagery had made it into the film while soaring over the heads of children.

All the credit goes to Chris Pratt and James Gunn, who reportedly came up with the one-liner during filming.

Pratt had a knack for ad-libbing many memorable moments in the first Guardians - including Star-Lord unspooling his middle finger to the Nova Corps - but nothing tops the icky hilarity of this inspired gag.
