10 Iconic Comic Book Movie Moments Not In The Script

2. The Boat Scene - Wonder Woman

In terms of writing, direction and performance, the best scene in Wonder Woman just might be the wonderfully understated dialogue between Diana (Gal Gadot) and Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) as they sail from Themyscira to London.

The pair awkwardly yet charmingly talk about the differences between human and Amazonian customs, with some not-so-subtle sexual tension brimming at the surface. It feels meticulously workshopped, and yet, the majority of the exchange was improvised and later shaped into a complete scene in editing.

Considering the scene goes on for several minutes and is rife with dialogue, you'd never guess it was mostly cobbled together on the spot. Clearly, it's a testament to the excellent chemistry between Gadot and Pine.
