10 Iconic Movie Heroes Who Deserved Way Better Deaths

4. A Bunch Of Characters - Toy Story 3

Toy Story At the beginning of the brilliant Toy Story 3, Woody briefly mentions that the gang have lost a whole bunch of friends in the time period between the second and third movies, including Bo Peep, Wheezy and Etch, characters we're suddenly suppose to just accept are all gone forever because... well, because. It's not specified as to where these characters went, exactly, but we can only assume from the sad tone that they've been either thrown out, were broken somehow, or got blown up by a deranged next door neighbour channelling the likes of Sid. Though we can't prove that these guys are dead, they might as well be: Pixar obviously didn't think them important enough to bring them back for the sequel, and assumed fans would get over it if they were missing. This was likely done because they didn't want to cram too many aspects into the story, but c'mon, Bo Peep was Woody's love interest for two entire movies - was it really necessary to just cut her out of the story with one line of dialogue? I mean, sure, it resonates as a point of sadness and loss for Woody, but it seemed kind of slapdash.
