6. Forrest Gump - Forrest Gump
Did Forrest Gump do ANYTHING on purpose? He didn't exactly lead an easy life but he sure as hell found luck at damn near every turn. As a boy, he was forced to wear leg braces and one night, when a young Elvis Presley was staying at his mother's house, Forrest was so moved by Elvis' music that he began to dance -- an awkward dance which was the inspiration for Elvis' hip shaking. Once Forrest's leg braces came off, everywhere he went he was run-ning. He became a college All-american football player by doing nothing other than running when he was handed the football. Forrest then went off to fight for his country in Vietnam and again his running saved his life and his lieutenant's life as well. Once Forrest was home he bought a boat and started a shrimping business in honor of his late friend, Bubba. His former lieutenant joined him and well, things didn't go so well. One night, they got trapped at sea during a hurricane -- a storm which destroyed ALL of the shrimping boats except theirs. This miracle allowed them to become the number one shrimping business and gave them the capital to invest in some, "fruit company," (Apple) netting them tremendous riches. Forrest was also the reason Nixon got busted on the Watergate heist when he called in a complaint because men were keeping him awake with their flashlights. All in all, a remarkable man leading a remarkable life -- almost all of it by complete accident.
