3. Dorothy - The Wizard Of Oz
Does Dorothy actually do anything other than bitch about everything? Her journey in Oz starts by her house falling on one of the Wicked Witches and gets her labeled a hero. Yup, I'm sure she planned that one but she sure will take that credit. Following the yellow brick road, she finds three companions who serve to make her feel better about herself. She finally makes it to Oz only to be tasked with killing the OTHER Wicked Witch. Here we go, right? Time for Dorothy to earn her hero status, right? Well, flying monkeys (awesome, by the way -- still wish they were somehow real) swoop in and cause havoc. Dorothy is taken hostage by the Wicked Witch and is now the one who needs RESCUING! Her three companions sneak into the Witch's fortress only to be caught themselves. The Witch sets the scarecrow on fire and in the process of trying to put the flames out, Dorothy accidentally splashes the Witch with some water -- the Witch's ONE WEAKNESS. The Witch melts and Oz is saved. Hurray for Dorothy! Or anyone else (luck) I guess.
