10 Iconic Movie Scenes You Won't Admit Have Aged Terribly

10. Demon Hounds - Ghostbusters

With rumours of a third Ghostbusters movie doing the rounds more than a few fans are likely to have scoured their DVD collection to hunt down the original and best to watch it again. After all these years, Ghostbusters is still a thoroughly entertaining slice of 80s goodness, with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and the gang on fine form. Much of the special effects still looks great to this day - the ghost in the library in the opening sequence is as frightening as it was when children cowered behind their hands in cinemas back in the mid-1980s. The same can't really be said for the demon hounds - while they looked the part when they broke out of their rocks and came to life on their plinths, the same can't be said once they start leaping and bounding through the busy city streets. See for yourself how much the effects deteriorate once the hound comes to life and smashes through the door - it's 80s CGI at its most dated. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i13POQtbzjo
