10 Iconic Villains Who Were Barely In The Movie

9. Pinhead - Hellraiser (1987): 10 Minutes

Clive Barker's British supernatural horror film Hellraiser, first released in 1987, remains one of the most culturally influential and widely celebrated films from God's favourite decade.

Hellraiser has become known for its gruesome and terrifying Cenobite villains, a cruel and sadistic race of intergalactic beings who are all into leather, chains and body horror.

Led by the equally gruesome Pinhead, portrayed by Doug Bradley in what has become known as truly awesome performance first time out, the Cenobites have been labelled as both angels and guardians throughout their history, but regard themselves as being nothing more than explorers who can no longer tell the difference between pain and pleasure when seeing other beings suffering.

Despite becoming the face of the series and featuring on all promotional material prior to and following the film's release, main antagonist Pinhead actually only registers around 10 minutes or so worth of screen time and isn't even called Pinhead until the series' first sequel.

With all of that being said, the impact this guy has had in such a short space of time should be well worth a place on a list containing the best horror villains.
