5. She-Creature (1956)
Dealing with hypnosis, reincarnation and past lives literally manifesting and coming to life, Dr. Carlo Lombardi (Chester Morris) uses hypnosis on his patients to uncover forgotten memories. While Chester Morris and Tom Conway lead the way on camera, the real star of this movie is costume maker Paul Blaisdell. Affectionately nicknamed Cuddles, the costume of the She-Creature is essentially a female version of Millicent Patrick and Bud Westmore's Creature From The Black Lagoon.
Maybe if Peter Lorre stayed on board for the production, the film wouldn't have been a horrible mess but what we do know, is that the creature in She-Creature demands acclaim.
