10 Incredibly Disturbing Horror Movie Moments

Hellraiser is one of the biggest horror staples in the genre, and it is a shame that we haven't heard from the series for so long. The work of Clive Barker is horribly grotesque and incredibly fun, and in this one scene, everything that makes his stories so terrifying is on display.

Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 sees Kristy come to an institution after the harrowing events of the first film. The head doctor at this hospital is an occult obsessed fanatic. He not only resurrects the evil Julia but calls forth the Cenobites from the demon world to ours.

One of the most horrifying scenes is the first arrival of Julia from hell. After the doctor takes one of his patients - who believes that he is covered in insects - and gives him a razor, he proceeds to mutilate himself. The patient lies atop the mattress Julia was murdered on, and once his blood touches it, horror occurs. Julia's arms shoot out, and she wraps herself around the poor man. Her face is horrifying as she kills him with glee.

The worst part about the scene has to be Julia's skinless image. It is unbelievably bloody, and the effect still holds up phenomenally.
