As Rob Schneider knows all too well, if you're friends with Adam Sandler you can toss out any old nonsense and the cheques will never dry up - Kevin James is another actor from the Happy Madison entourage who's become stinking rich despite a clear lack of talent. Rob Schneider might be a little miffed knowing that he has one 0% rated movie on Rotten Tomatoes, but Kevin James has gone one better - both the 2002 version of Pinnochio and the more recent film Stranded received universal disapproval from the critics, and for the very good reason that they're absolutely dreadful. While most people tend to find constant jokes about being fat not only inevitably boring but also offensive (even if it's a fat person telling the jokes they become offensive simply through repetition), Kevin James wouldn't have a career without them. With box office receipts making it clear that there's a huge audience for such drivel means that James's bank account will continue to inflate for the foreseeable future.
