9. Katie in Paranormal Activity
Anyone who bought Paranormal Activities on DVD might have noticed that the special features included an alternative ending. Though not as creepy this version was still disturbing as it shows Katie returning to the room in the final shot with a large butcher's knife that she uses to slit her own throat. Despite already having two horrific endings Paranormal actually sported a third in the beginning. After killing Micah off screen Katie would sit on her bed for the next two days until a friend came over and called the police. When the cops show up they ask Katie to drop the knife she used to kill Micah before opening fire, shooting her down. The best ending of course is the one used for the theatrical version. Having Katie survive says to the audience that all is not right in the world. This demon-possessed girl is still out there and she might be closer than you think.
