6. This Is 40 - Something Is Stuck Up Pete's Butt
Many moments that Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) have in this film prove that perhaps, it is better to avoid matrimony. The insecurity of having to take Viagra, hiding out in the bathroom so Pete can finish his iPad game, or being yelled at by your kids (played by Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow's real life daughters, Iris and Maude Apatow) while your wife is trying to give you a bj. However, probably the most infamous scene in the movie is when Pete feels something is 'stuck up my ass' and tries to see it with a mirror. Debbie walks in on this, dismayed that perhaps there is no more romance, privacy or intimacy in their marriage as it has come to investigating Pete's anus to find that he has a hemorrhoid. This film confirms that marriage reveals you will learn your spouse's bodily functions intimately.
