7. Abusive Boyfriend Iron Man Armour

So, who remembers when one of Tony Stark's Iron Man armours got struck by lightning, somehow gained sentience as a result of that and became hopelessly in love with Stark himself almost immediately? No? Opted to push that one out of your mind? We don't blame you. Well, it happened, and it was terrible. The armour killed several people and took a terrified (and confused) Tony to a desert island, where it tied him to a tree and poured its mechanical heart out to him, before almost killing Tony in the final fight against it. However, it suddenly went double-reverse-psycho and sacrificed itself to save him, using its own parts to fix Tony's problematic mechanical bits. Imagine that on film. You'd just walk right out of the theatre, wouldn't you? Ludicrous.
