10 Insane Deleted Scenes That Thankfully Didn't Make The Final Film

7. Machete To The Crotch - Friday the 13th: A New Beginning (1985)

For some reason people always seem to have nothing but bad things to say about the fifth entry of the Friday The 13th series - and to a certain extent, it's completely understandable. For one, it doesn't feature Jason Voorhees as the actual killer. The killer is actually just some guy named Roy who's upset that his overweight son got killed over a candy bar.

Nevertheless, the film does have its fair share of inventive kills, cool characters, and memorable moments. For instance, new-wave/goth girl Violet performing an odd rendition of the robot as she listens to Pseudo Echo might just be one of thee greatest moments of the entire franchise. Too bad "Jason" ultimately ruins the impromptu dance sequence the best way he knows how.

In the final film, Violet is pinned to the wall and stabbed with a machete to the gut. However, the original scene was going to feature the character getting a machete shoved up her crotch, leaving a bloody mess that Playtex wouldn't know what to do with. If you can think of an appropriate time to subject your eyes to that, pat yourself on the back.
