4. Liz's Drawing Of The Avengers Foreshadows Ronin - Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man: Homecoming boasts an incredible feat of foreshadowing in its very first shot.

During the film's prologue sequence, Adrian Toomes aka Vulture (Michael Keaton) is sorting through the wreckage of the Battle of New York while examining a picture of The Avengers drawn by his daughter, who is of course eventually revealed to be Peter's (Tom Holland) love interest Liz (Laura Harrier).

The picture seems like any regular, cute kids' drawing of superheroes until, on further inspection, it's clear that Hawkeye isn't donning his usual bow-and-arrow, but actually a sword.

This is clearly a nod to his eventual role as Ronin, as finally revealed in Avengers: Endgame, where he picked up a sword to slice his way through the Yakuza in Japan.

Given that Endgame started filming mere weeks after Homecoming's release, it's little surprise that Marvel Studios had their ducks in a row enough to include this reference - even if there was ultimately almost two years between the release of Homecoming and Endgame.
