7. Legolas Only Says Five Words To Frodo In The Entire Lord Of The Rings Trilogy

Get ready to have your mind blown. Across The Lord of the Rings trilogy, both in the theatrical and extended editions, Legolas (Orlando Bloom) only says a single five-word sentence to Frodo (Elijah Wood). Yup.

Despite being two of the series' most iconic characters, sharing a fair amount of time in proximity, and conversing numerous times in J.R.R. Tokien's books, Legolas' only spoken interaction with Frodo occurs during The Fellowship of the Ring, when he agrees to accompany the Hobbit on his journey by saying:

"And you have my bow."

That this is all they say to one another over almost 12 hours of film content is absolutely flabbergasting, enough that fans couldn't be blamed for flat-out assuming it must be wrong.

But alas it's entirely true, and even prompted the hilarious fan theory that Frodo actually forgot Legolas' name when the Fellowship reunited at the end of the trilogy, given that he doesn't actually speak the elf's name aloud.
