10 Insane Movie Plans That Completely Ignored Logic

4. The Rebels Plan To Deactivate The Death Stars Deflector Shield - Star Wars

TyderiumCockpitTHE PLAN: The Rebels are planning a pre-emptive strike on the supposedly not-combat ready Death Star, the only problem is that the space station is protected by a deflector shield which is being generated on the nearby moon of Endor. The fleet is in position and ready to attack and so it is down to Han, Chewie, Leia, Luke and a whole host of troops to land on the planet and deactivate the shield. The groups plan is to bypass the defence shield by using a stolen Imperial shuttle and a stolen code. WHY IT'S STUPID: The Imperials are a well oiled machine and I can only imagine that at some point, somebody would probably report that their shuttle was stolen. Given that these days we can track a stolen iPhone, I am pretty sure there would be some form of tracking device attached to their ships or at the very least the ships name and registration would probably be entered into some form Excel sheet so when the shuttle pops up on the Death Star's radar, the alarm would be raised. The Imperials next move would surely be to send some Tie Fighters to wipe out the stolen shuttle, thus ending any hope of the Rebellion successfully destroying the new Death Star and making the final battle in Return Of The Jedi are crap load more one-sided and depressing.
