10 Insane Recent Horror Movie Moments Nobody Saw Coming

X involves a group of filmmakers trying to shoot a porno on a farm but the place's elderly inhabitants turn out to be more than meets the eye. Soon enough, each member of the main cast is picked off in brutal ways.

But the film never shies away from the fact that these villains are senior citizens which means that despite their killer edge, they're already a bit fragile. From frail old Pearl to establishing Howard's heart condition, these are set-ups that come to play by the film's climax.

Upon checking one of their hapless victims, the girl turns out to be not quite dead and twitches which gives Howard a heart attack. This gives final girl Maxine the window of opportunity to escape and in an effort to stop her, Pearl tries to shoot her with a shotgun; a move that sends her flying back several feet away and breaks her hip.

Not only is this scene extremely satisfying due to the murders they commit, but it also happens to be a hilarious visual. Seeing the elderly Pearl launch herself backward is a memorable and comedic way to defeat an antagonist.
