From 2009 to 2013, Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were in one of the most-publicised Hollywood relationships of the last 20 years.

The fact that the pair also played screen lovers in the Twilight films only exacerbated the enormous media attention surrounding the pair, yet the fact that their relationship timeline neatly coincided with the length of the Twilight franchise caused many fans to suspect it was all a publicity stunt.
