9. Keanu Reeves Was Supposed To Play A Major Role - Fast X
2023 has already seen the immortal Keanu Reeves blast his way through rooms of thugs and race through the streets of Europe in a muscle car.
But if another franchise had it their way, John Wick: Chapter 4 wouldn't have been the only recent film to boast Reeves knocking the stuffing out of a few faceless enemies.
After already almost joining the Fast family during the making of Hobbs & Shaw a few years back, as confirmed by director David Leitch (via THR), eventual Aimes actor Alan Ritchson recently confirmed (via EW) that the iconic action star was once again courted coming into Fast X.
According to the Reacher actor, Reeves was originally intended to play the new leader of the Agency in the latest Fast entry, a move that would have added even more star power to a series already containing Vin Diesel, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Jason Mamoa, Jason Statham, Brie Larson, and so many more.
Seriously, these flicks contain more stars than sense.
Perhaps Keanu will finally rock up in Fast XI: Part One - The Petrol Rises as another long lost relative determined to earn their place at the family BBQ. Or maybe the Fast series will simply forever be a franchise too far for the Matrix, Wick, and Bill & Ted legend.
