10 Inspiring Documentaries Available For Free On Youtube

2. Gasland (2010)

Nominated for an Academy Award for documentary film back in 2011, Gasland captivated audiences and critics alike with its stark portrayal of the consequences of hydraulic fracturing. You know, the thing Mark Ruffalo is always going on about... Detailing the impact of fracking on rural families in America, the documentary looks at the chronic health issues and the water contamination that is directly caused by the actions of certain gas companies. The film was so influential that it was actually part of the reason that anti-fracking groups (and presumably Mark Ruffalo) started to gain so much momentum. If you€™re looking for something hard hitting that€™ll make you see the world differently, this is the documentary for you. Plus, it€™s on youtube (like all of these documentaries). Did I mention that already? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GGrJkdcHZY
