10 Most Interesting Marvel Villains (We Haven't Seen Onscreen Yet)
7. Gorgon
Gorgon is a blindfolded Japanese samurai who can - as you've probably guessed - turn people to stone with no more than a stern look. He also has a sword called Godkiller and once chopped a speedster hero's arms off in one slice. If you don't immediately want to see him on the big screen, there's probably something wrong with you. Gorgon was originally introduced in a Wolverine story in which Logan was almost petrified by the villain but had the ingenuity to extrude his claws, forcing Gorgon to see his own reflection and turn himself to stone. We can all picture that, surely. Although he's mostly fought gruff old men like Nick Fury and Wolverine, Gorgon feels more suited to facing off against someone like Luke Cage onscreen. Someone who can go toe-to-toe with the bad guys but isn't indestructible and really has to be creative in how they deal with superpowered foes. Well, that's if we don't get a Secret Warriors TV series anyway...
