10 Most Interesting Marvel Villains (We Haven't Seen Onscreen Yet)
8. Arcade
Arcade is kind of like Mojo but with less of a need to entertain the world with the live torture of slaves and more of a desire just to mess with superheroes and most importantly he is a perfect villain for the big screen. The reason? He basically constructs giant playgrounds/death traps and dumps caped heroes in them and challenges them to escape. It's kind of gimmicky, sure, but it sure makes for a neat visual spectacle. Possibly the best use of Arcade was in an X-Factor story from a few years ago in which the character turns a whole section of New York City called Mutant Town into a deadly obstacle course for the heroes of that book...just for the hell of it. Literally not knowing what's round the bend and having an entire street become a deadly booby trap? I mean, yes, it might start to sound all a little Westworld, but what's wrong with that? Again, Arcade would be a great one-off or recurring foe for Agents of SHIELD, but he might work even better facing off against a single hero in Daredevil or one of Marvel's other Netflix series, ramping up the threat and isolation and also being able to make Hell's Kitchen look creepy as hell.
