10 Internet Horror Stories That Should Be Movies

8. Uncle Gerry's Family Fun Zone

It's safe to say that some things haven't aged too well over the course of human history, with the traditional funfair located on the outskirts of towns and cities perhaps being one of the better and more obvious examples of something once considered fun and innocent turning into something slightly more unsettling.

The big tents, loud music, bright lights and assortment of creepy performers may have hurt business, but they combine pretty nicely to help provide some particularly unnerving horror stories.

The mystery of Uncle Gerry's Family Fun Zone by Red_Grin on the nosleep subreddit is one such example of this in action.

The story is set around a couple of interviews with two local residents, Will and Caroline, recalling what they remember about the infamous 'Uncle Gerry's Family Fun Zone'. A special funfair that no one in the areas it visited was ever able to track down, the legend was that Uncle Gerry would lure the local children to his red slide where they would all eventually end up disappearing.

Describing the trauma that came with discovering the true nature of Uncle Gerry's Fun Zone, and the horrors that lay within, this tale contains so many jarring twists and turns that it would be an absolute waste not seeing it brought to life.
