Few actors could have played Dothraki chieftain Khal Drogo to universal acclaim, but such is Jason Momoa's physical prowess and screen presence that he owned the role. He's built like a house and has enough charisma to make him an engaging presence on screen, both of which attributes were put to the test in Bullet To The Head, which pitted him against walking legend Sylvester Stallone. Somewhat inevitably, Mamoa would end up as the most interesting part of the film. Momoa put in a sterling performance as the ruthless mercenary, Keegan, and though the plot called for him to be inexplicably outsmarted by Stallone's Jimmy Bobo, he still managed to come out of each situation looking like a pro. Eventually tiring of the game of cat and mouse he turns to the henchman's handbook and kidnaps Bobo's daughter, which leads to the most simultaneously fantastic and ridiculous scene in modern action. With axes. That fight sequence and Momoa's performance are probably the most interesting aspects of this middle of the road adaptation. While he is inevitably subjected to a mumbled one-liner and defeated by Stallone, his time on screen makes Bullet To The Head worth watching.
