10 James Bond Gadgets We Wish Were Real

6. Ultra-High-Frequency Single-Digit Sonic-Agitator Unit - Die Another Day

Gadget: Also known as the glass-shattering ring, it simply requires a twist to activate, then to be held to any €œunbreakable€ glass. As it€™s official name suggests, it sends out an ultra high frequency pitch that comes in handy when 007 needs to escape an elevated room with a glass floor, or to save Halle Berry from the inside of a submerged vehicle. Real World Application: Aside from any affectionate gratitude Halle Berry might throw you after being saved, there are several potential real world uses for this. The most obvious would be for those of us who routinely drive our cars into deep bodies of water. (I myself prefer to drive into mountainous lakes as they generally have clearer water.) This device wouldn€™t be out of place amongst a rescue operative€™s typical bag of tricks. Another use, albeit more nefarious, would be for those who want to rob a jewelry store or two where a simple brick through the window just won€™t do, and you need a little more pizazz. I'm sorry - I promise, I€™ll never use the word pizazz again if you just ignore that one usage and continue reading. Deal? Ok.
