7. Underwater Jetpack - Thunderball
Gadget: A bit of a laughable appearance, but the underwater jet pack from Thunderball is totally awesome. As seen in the climax of the film, it not only propels 007 through the water faster than anyone can swim, but also comes equipped with two explosive-tipped spear guns, and a headlight. Not to mention he lifts it from a dead guy at the end of the fight. Real World Application: The first thing that comes to mind for this is some kind of badass nighttime spearfishing adventure. The second is just tooling around in the ocean, having fun. Granted, we tend to rush through most activities anymore nowadays, so speeding through a coral reef might be missing the point of a nice leisurely dive, but it sure would be fun.
