10 James Bond Villains With The Most Sinister Plans

6. Ernst Stavro Blofeld - A Full Pardon, Or The World's Food Supply Gets It (OHMSS)

Elliot Carver, Tomorrow Never Dies
MGM

We find the Telly Savalas version of Blofeld in retirement planning. It's straightforward-ish enough: demanding a pardon from the United Nations from all his past evildoing. Otherwise, he'll "proceed with the systematic extinction of whole species of cereals and livestock all over the world" by releasing a biological agent - fittingly and forebodingly called Virus Omega - via 12 psychedelically brainwashed beauties, his Angels of Death. Well, you do learn to hold all the aces after years of heading up the world's most sophisticated terrorist organisation.

To be fair we'd all fall under the spell of Savalas' dulcet tones, and coupled with receiving a rather unique Christmas present from the Count, you'd be naturally more susceptible to anything. Plus what he did for the English girl was absolutely fabulous.

This is Blofeld's Bizarre Phase, yet props to him for originality and moving away from the usual rockets and weaponised satellites.

Not content with your basic full immunity package, Blofeld also wants to claim the la-di-da title of Count Balthazar de Bleuchamp. Fill your boots son. Bold as well as bald.

Oh, and his henchwoman - the simply delightful Irma Bunt - kills Bond's wife Tracy. Yeah, that's pretty sinister too.

The name's Colbourn, James - yeah, doesn't quite have the same ring to it.
