6. Jared Nomak (Blade II)

Blade has some pretty cool villains in the comic books that weren't used in the movie franchise - Lucas Cross, Nosferati, Nimrod and Morbius to name but a few - but New Line Cinema opted to introduce a completely new one in the second offering. It was pretty controversial at the time, as an alternate ending to the first movie saw Morbius looking at Blade from afar, suggesting that the popular villain would be utilised in the sequel. Instead, it was Jared Nomak and his fellow Reapers who were used. The Reapers were a mutated form of vampire who were so consumed with an insatiable bloodlust that they preyed on ordinary vampires as well as humans and Blade had to join forces with his usual enemies to defeat them. The movie was a success and Luke Goss' Nomak was a popular antagonist.
