Knocked Off - Night of the Living Dead

In Zombie Flesh Eaters, a a woman heads to a Caribbean island after her father goes missing there. Shortly after arriving, she discovers a voodoo curse on the island has begun to reanimate the dead.

Now, most horror that revolves around the undead fails because the film doesn't do anything to stand out. More often than not, films such as these simply copy elements from George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead.

However, Zombie Flesh Eaters is different since it's one of the few horrors entrenched in zombie mythology. In fact, it delves into the mythos of the undead more than Romero ever did. It has its own distinctive style thanks to its unnerving soundtrack, intricate cinematography, and inventive gore (especially the shot where a woman gets her eye gouged out by a splinter.)

Even though the movie only came to be because of Living Dead's influence, Zombie Flesh Eaters never tries to copy Romero and so, should deserve way more credit. Also, it has a scene where a zombie fights a shark. What other reason do you need to watch it?
