7. He-Man (Dolph Lundgren) - Masters Of The Universe
Unable to mount a large-scale picture that remained close to the cartoon series, Cannon Films choose to set the majority of the action in present day California - not a bad idea considering how cheap and cheerful Castle Greyskull looks. To the gratitude of Bad Movie fans everywhere, they also cast Dolph Lundgren in the lead. Then white-hot after Rocky IV, Lundgren was hired on the understanding that his dialogue would be dubbed in post-production, but when financial woes torpedoed that idea, Cannon cheerfully let them stand, which is why He-Man speaks in an occasionally hard to understand growl. Throw in some scenes of He-Man flying that look suspiciously like the actor being towed, add some cornball dialogue and sprinkle with moments such as when the shirtless Lundgren steps out of a pink car, and you have a not very super hero who doesnt do very much apart from get under Skeletors feet. Then he follows his nemesis back to Eternia and kills him. The End.
