10 Last-Minute Predictions For X-Men: Apocalypse
9. Wolverine's Screen Time Is Less Than 2 Minutes
The Prediction: Wolverine's much-discussed cameo in the film lasts less than two minutes in total, slightly longer than his blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance in X-Men: First Class, but just barely.
Why It'll Happen: Because Hugh Jackman's a busy man for one, and Bryan Singer probably won't want Jackman's presence overshadowing his attempt to set-up a new X-Men franchise built around the new iterations of Jean Grey, Nightcrawler and Cyclops. Plus, if Jackman had anything approaching a decent role, we surely would've heard about it ages ago.
Why It Might Not: We know that Wolverine meets up with Jean Grey and Cyclops and kills a bunch of security guards in what's assumed to be a Weapon X facility, so it'd be tough to cram all of this into less than two minutes, but Bryan Singer may very well employ jump-cut editing if the sequence plays out in the film as a flashback, as it does in the trailer.
