This was inevitable.

After being pushed from its planned March release to this month, Mulan was later slotted in for August 21st as Disney was clearly keeping a close eye on how Tenet did before releasing their latest live-action adaptation in cinemas. Now, the movie is undated as the studio has decided to keep a close eye on how things develop over the coming weeks before making any firm decisions.

"Over the last few months, it’s become clear that nothing can be set in stone when it comes to how we release films during this global health crisis, and today that means pausing our release plans for Mulan as we assess how we can most effectively bring this film to audiences around the world," a Walt Disney Studios spokesperson said in a statement yesterday.

As of now, Black Widow still has its November 6th release date, and there's not yet any indication that will change. It's certainly possible, though, and the next few months will obviously be very telling.
