block_tTy4D9pJPc When you think of what James Bond movies have been missing, what's the obvious answer? That's right. Samurai! Known best for his epics Ran, Seven Samurai, and Yojimbo, Akira Kurosawa had an eye for creating memorable battle sequences and iconic imagery. He also has the distinction of being one of the only Japanese directors to have mainstream success amongst English audiences. Now, I'm not sure if a James Bond samurai war epic would be weirder or not than my previously mentioned Bond spaghetti western, but I'd give an arm and a leg to see it done, at least once. Speaking of weird....
