8. Cyrus (2010)

By far, this movie has one of the creepiest relationships since the Bates family in Psycho. Yet, it's a romantic comedy. Schlubby John is having problems moving on from his ex-wife Jamie (Katherine Keener), who is also still his friend. That is until he gets drunk at a party and meets the sweet and beautiful Molly (Marisa Tomei). Molly is great on every level but she is secretive of her home life. Mostly, she is trying to keep John away from her son Cyrus (Jonah Hill). Turns out Cyrus and Molly have a very creepy relationship. Despite the very strange relationship she has with her adult son, John tries to date Molly dealing with the ever mounting opposition from the creepy Cyrus. Despite having one of the most bizarre premises and relationships ever, this movie is very touching, as awkward as it is. It also asks a really interesting question, how do you date that perfect someone who has a very strange family? A great movie for anyone who likes uncomfortable comedy.
