Another off-shoot of one of Marvel's most well-known teams, the West Coast Avengers have been around for many a decade, and have provided the basis for more low-key - yet still greatly enjoyable - tales than the main group.

This team is often led by classic Avenger Hawkeye, with the archer having actually founded the original incarnation, meaning that his presence is usually felt in every version.

Don't let this fact put you off the group though, as the Clint Barton of the comics is a lot more fun than Jeremy Renner's on-screen take, something that could perhaps be changed if the West Coast team are ever brought to the MCU.
