10 Long-Awaited Movie Moments That Failed To Live Up To The Hype

10. The Return of Marion - Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Marion Marion Ravenwood is probably the most popular of all the Indy ladies, because - let's face it - the other candidates are a screaming blonde and a Nazi. The competition isn't exactly tough. Still, when I heard that Marion would return in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, I was pumped. Given Indy's age, it made sense to bring back his one true love - having Harrison Ford romancing a young archaeology student played by Megan Fox or something would've been super weird, I guess. Plus, it'd be nice to see Karen Allen again, given her long hiatus. Or, at least, that's what we thought, until it was made quickly apparent that Karen Allen had forgotten how to act in the time it took for her to end up in this movie. Not only that, but all the gusto and badassery associated with her younger character in Raiders was replaced with an array of incredibly annoying soccer mom-like qualities. It just wasn't the same Marion that we knew from the before, a woman who genuinely felt like a worthy partner for Indy - this time it was just some old woman tagging along to ruin the fun. So, uh, Megan Fox for Indy V, I guess.
