With the Guardians getting an honorary mention, it was always just a matter of time before Joss Whedons The Avengers made an appearance. Whedon unites characters who dont quite fit into everyday life a genius billionaire who turned himself into a hero; a WWII veteran awoken in the 21st century; a god and a prince from Asgard; a scientist who transforms into a monster; and a Russian spy whos switched sides and joined S.H.I.E.L.D. Some of them have super powers, others dont, but all are willing to put their lives on the line for the sake of humanity, especially when Samuel L. Jacksons Nick Fury gives them something to avenge. Loki never stood a chance, even if it came at the devastation of New York.
Movie / TV enthusiast with a DVD and Blu-ray collection bigger than I'd care to admit. If anyone is offering creative / furniture solutions to house them, I'm all ears.
