6. A Fett

Probability? 2/10 Let's deal with the elephant in the room. As soon as the final trailer landed, fans began picking it apart for any sign of Easter Eggs or clues that JJ Abrams both knows what he's doing and that he has the necessary credentials to lead the most important film of the last ten years. There wasn't a lot of actual information in there, but there was firm reason to be positive on that front. Unfortunately, some fans have taken the evidence of his fan-baiting - like the inclusion of a Mandalorian flag in the reveal of Maz Kanata's base - as a sign that the film is going to go too far into that sort of territory (as Star Trek was accused of doing). For that element of the fanbase, a Boba Fett Easter Egg was a step too far. Worryingly for them, a Fett might actually appear in the film in some capacity. That of course doesn't mean the character actually needs to be alive, of course. There's a fairly pressing case for Boba's armour to be one of Maz Kanata's pirate trophies, which would be the perfect middle finger salute to anyone holding out hope for a revival of the character as per the Expanded Universe. But then you wouldn't put that past Disney either...
