7. Fast & Furious 7 - The Stath
If you haven't yet seen Fast & Furious 6, you're missing out (seriously, no sarcasm here,) and you will definitely have missed the sequel-setting spoiler that lands after the credits roll on the film. In a sequel that depicts the unfortunate death of Han, which was initially shown in Tokyo Drift (but not wholly explained as anything other than a sad accident) - making him one of few human characters to die twice in the same franchise - it is revealed that the forthcoming villain of Fast & Furious 7 will be Jason Statham, playing the brother of the just-vanquished Luke Evans - the unspectacularly named Ian Shaw. Statham has
subsequently confirmed that he was reluctant to play the villain of the forthcoming sequel, but that the opportunity to possibly face off against the Rock was too much to let go, and that his villain might not be as simple as we may expect...
"I didn't really want to play the villain, but there are certain moments where you think it might be a good time to do that. I'm not saying I'm the full-blooded... I'm not going to tell you too much about what I'm going to do in the film, but if it's a good villain, there's obviously some consideration to be made. There are some really bad villains out there, and I don't want to get myself wet with that s**t."
Who else thinks that means he might be turning face by the end of the movie?
