4. Robocop Will Be An Al Qaeda-Whupping Transformer
When we first saw the armour reveal of the brand new Robocop movie, it's safe to say we weren't at all amused. It looked way too much like a Hitfix's Drew McWeeny revealed that he had had eyes on the script on Twitter, and revealed some choice details. And by choice, we mean awful-sounding, given what those revelations included. Not only will the movie openly ridicule the 19802 iconic design of the Robocop suit - basically taking an unnecessary swipe at their own heritage - it seems the android-assisted law-enforcement officer will also come equipped with some new powers. Here's a choice selection of McWeeny's revelations - some of which will hopefully not make it into the film. Because, damnit, they're ridiculius...
Ill share this one detail. In the film, when Murphy is turned into Robocop 1.0, its described a high-tech version of the 80s suit. Then they show a focus group scene where criminals laugh at the design. He looks like a toy from the 80s! Hold onto your sides for more hilarious Robocop details. They outsource his construction to China. #seriously Ahhh now they just dropped Robocop 3.0 onto an Al Qaeda training camp to see what he does. He should be programmed to incapacitate in all scenarios.
Oh, god oh dear god Robocop is a Transformer. He goes from social mode to combat mode and back. Full transformation..
So there we go - a transformer who will be dropped into an Al Qaeda training camp to test his powers. I won't buy that for a dollar.
