10 Major Resolutions For DC Movies In 2017

9. Remove Zack Snyder's Creative Control

Putting aside the baffling commitment of his army of fanboys, Zack Snyder has not been good for the DCEU. Sure, he made the best film so far, in Man Of Steel, but he said way back when Watchmen came out that he had no interest in making conventional superhero movies and then proved it by adding so much faux weight and darkness it was almost impossible to breathe.

And now, fine, he's made the studio a lot of money with Batman v Superman (which glosses over the fact that that movie should have made Star Wars money), but the idea that he had a hand in mapping out the entire DCEU until Justice League 2 should be setting off all sorts of alarm bells.

Now every director who comes in has to work against his vision, which is why you'll see constant reassurances that the rest of the slate will be "fun" or will go in new directions. The unspoken caveat to that is that they'll be funner THAN HIM, different to HIS WORK, and that should be enough indication that he shouldn't be involved in a higher creative capacity. Particularly not when you have DC stalwart Geoff Johns there, who should be DC's Kevin Feige and who CRUCIALLY isn't directing any of the single movies. That matters.
