10 Major Reveals From The Super Bowl Trailers
9. Jack Sparrow And Will Turner - Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
The Pirates of the Caribbean franchise may have been run into the ground from a narrative sense, but it still represents a veritable treasure chest to the doubloon counters over at Disney.
That said, the upcoming fifth instalment - subtitled Dead Men Tell No Tales or Salazar's Revenge depending on where you live - does look like it could be a return to form.
The ghost pirates obviously invoke memories of the (great) first movie, the effects are impressive, and new directors Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg (who have previous form with sea-faring films) look like they've successfully recaptured the tone and spirit of old.
Continuing that thread, then, we get our first look at the returning Will Turner (Orlando Bloom), who sat out the fourth film. Still pirating The Flying Dutchman, things don't look great for old Will - who appears to have been neglecting his duties.
Then, right at the end, it's the star of the show himself. Captain Jack Sparrow makes his first marketing appearance for the new film, looking incredibly grimy but still his cheeky self, and still living the pirate's life. The same can't really be said for Captain Barbosa though, who - based on this trailer - is an absolute certainty to die. Yo ho!
