10 Major Reveals From The Super Bowl Trailers

4. It's Nailed The Book - The Handmaid's Tale

Not the most hype-worthy trailer of the bunch - it's not part of a franchise, and doesn't have a huge star in it - but still one of the best put together and most interesting, the new footage from Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale looks very good indeed.

Based on Margaret Atwood's seminal (and still, sadly, highly relevant) novel of the same name, the story takes place in an alt (we hope) near future, where a totalitarian theocracy reigns and women are subjugated by the men who rule.

The book was previously adapted before, with a film version released in 1990, but that struggled with the task of turning the inner-monologuing of protagonist Offred into a compelling drama without losing its core.

The TV series, thankfully, doesn't appear to be suffering from such problems. With the brilliant Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) in the lead role, it looks like they've managed to successfully convey her thoughts and emotions to the audience, while capturing the horrifying nature of what happens and the strength she possesses as well. In short, it looks like they've nailed it.
