10 Major Reveals From The Super Bowl Trailers

The marketing for Logan - Hugh Jackman's final outing as Wolverine - has been nothing short of stunning. From the first Johnny Cash-backed trailer, it's appeared as much more than your regular X-movie, with a definite indie feel to it and inspiration seemingly drawn from The Last Of Us.

The Super Bowl spot didn't diverge too much from that - this time, a version of Amazing Grace plays over the footage - although being only a short clip it focused more on the action.

There wasn't a lot of new stuff in there, mostly repeating the same footage of Logan and Laura, but there were a few interesting additions. We got to see a bit more of Stephen Merchant's Caliban, some further evidence that the bad guys have a machine that drains mutants of their power, and most interestingly a bunch of kids in the woods.

We've seen this before, but only with Laura and Logan. Now there's a whole bunch of kids in there, all running from the same threat. Who are these children? Are they mutants like Laura, and have also been the subject of experiments? Is Logan going to raise a new X-family? It's a late-in-the-day swerve, but a good one.
