4. Ronan The Accuser

Despite the fact that Ronan the Accuser has mostly been portrayed as a villain in the pages of the comic books, it was still shocking for a lot of fans to see him as a full on genocidal lunatic in James Gunn's Guardians Of The Galaxy. A big part of that surprise was undoubtedly because the character has been given more of a heroic persona recently. It's hard to imagine the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Ronan ever being redeemed, but that doesn't mean that there aren't a lot of people out there who would love to see him make a return. Actor Lee Pace has expressed interest in that a number of times as of late (which fans responded very positively to), while Gunn has said he's also open to the idea. It won't be happening in the sequel though, something which the director has confirmed. Bringing Ronan back might feel like a stretch after he was obliterated by one of the Infinity Stones, but when Thanos becomes all powerful in Avengers: Infinity War, perhaps he'll use the Infinity Gauntlet to resurrect Ronan in order to do his bidding for him?
