10 Marvel Cinematic Universe Moments When Characters Failed At Life

1. Loki Has Performance Issues (The Avengers)

Loki, yet again! Prior to the epic final battle of at the end of the Avengers movie, Tony Stark figured out that Loki would be basing himself at the top of his own Stark Tower to give himself a huge audience as he attempted to take over Earth. He headed there to confront the God of Mischief and told him that he was doomed to fail, thanks to the Avengers. He then listed all of the Avengers and Loki asked him how they€™d have time to fight him when they€™d be too busy fighting Tony, who he then proceeded to try to mind-control using his sceptre. He placed the sceptre on Tony€™s chest, as he had done to many others in the movie, to send its energies in to him to get him under his control. However, it hit Tony€™s arc reactor and didn€™t work on him. As a result, Loki says €œthis usually works€ and Tony likens the situation with being unable to perform in the bedroom by saying €œwell, performance issues€ it€™s not uncommon€. This was epic failure on Loki's part, as he had previously appeared to have done his research regarding all of the Avengers, but neglected to take in to account one of the main aspects of Tony Stark's profile.
